WILSON RESIDENCE

The Wilson Residence in Zionsville, Indiana, is a new Victorian house with amazing landscape opportunities. Unusually, we were not called to do planting beds on this project, but to specifically work on grading and drainage, elevation changes, paving and patio surfacing.

We installed several estate walls and large stones to control erosion on elevation changes. We also placed a herringbone patterned brick walk and patio for a hot tub and worked with the architect to create new supports for the two-story porches with tumbled stone patio and column pedestals. We wanted to make sure that all of the elements worked together to tie in with the architecture.

In the end, we did place some significant shrubs to create a base for future designs.
