COOLEY RESIDENCE
The Cooley Residence in Eaton, Indiana, gets a lot of attention from me because it is my parents’ home. They have a large, sloping plot of land with light, mature forest and a lake surrounded by farmland.
This side of the house faces the lake and transitions from the first floor to the basement level. I put in a waterfall and retaining wall as well as planting beds full of ground cover and flowering shrubs. In the design, I am making the connection from the house to the yard and the view.
